Who we are

Dr. Theresa Long h.c, also known as Theresa Tammygirlll, is a proud first-generation American whose journey began in Queens, NY and led her to Columbia, SC where faith, purpose, and community fuel her work. A devoted small business owner since 2019, Dr. Long has served her community through notarizations, officiating marriages, field inspections, and loan signings.

In May 2025, she was awarded her Doctorate in Christian Business Management by the American International Christian University (dba BUI), a milestone that reflects her commitment to both spiritual growth and entrepreneurial excellence.

Writing has always been her dream, a calling rooted deeply in her upbringing. Dr. Long draws inspiration from literary icons such as Dr. Maya Angelou and Alma Luz Villanueva, but even more powerfully from the remarkable women who raised her. Her mother, Theresa Randolph, is her personal superhero — a true Jill of all trades — and her grandmother, Angie Brooks-Randolph, the former President of the United Nations in 1969, left a legacy of leadership, faith, and fierce determination. These women, whom she grew up with in the same home, sharing the same space and praying the same prayers, instilled in her a truth she lives by: there is a blessing in being a blessing. She says, “I had no choice but to be great.”

Today, Dr. Long is a self-published author living her dream. She has authored six heartfelt journals available on Amazon: How It Feels to Be a Hero, Things We Lost, Prayer Changes Things, Our Biggest Blessing, Butterfly, and My Body Is My Temple.

She is especially proud of her two faith-based children's books: Dear Little Boy: A Letter to My Son and Dear Little Girl: A Letter to Myself, both empowering messages rooted in love, identity, and divine purpose and her latest children’s book “abuelita y yo: nuestro recetario” (grandma & me: our book of recipes) scheduled to be published on november 3, 2025.

As Dr. Long beautifully reflects: “A long time ago, God told me my gifts would make a way for me and now, I am reaping the harvest of every seed planted.”
